The catalogue

Every Lyme & coinfection test, on one page.

Read the assays the way clinicians do: by what they're actually looking for. We start with the preferred direct test preferred by many cutting edge specialists and Doctors all over the world, then walk through serology, cellular immunity, and the panels for the most common coinfections.

Preferred direct test

DualDur

The preferred direct test preferred by many cutting edge specialists and Doctors all over the world. A two-step culture and visualisation method that recovers live Borrelia from a small blood draw.

DualDur is highlighted on this site as the direct test of choice because it offers something most Lyme assays cannot: visual, photographic evidence of the pathogen itself.

Method
Proprietary enrichment culture combined with dark-field and fluorescence microscopy. Live spirochetes are concentrated from whole blood and then directly observed and photographed.
Detects
Live Borrelia spirochetes & Bartonella, Babesia, Mycplasma, Ehrlichia and Anaplasma — all findings are photographed and shared with your results
Sample
Whole blood (single venous draw, ~20 mL)
Turnaround
Max 15 working-days, usually 10 working-days
Sensitivity
High in both active, untreated infection — as well as in treated infection - and level of activity is indexed - substantially higher than standard serology
Specificity
Very high — direct visualisation of the organism leaves little room for ambiguity. AI together with one of the largest databases for Lyme globally makes it incredibly specific
Best for
Seronegative patients with strong clinical suspicion, treatment-monitoring (since the level of activity is measurable), and confirming chronic or persistent infection.
Limitations
Requires a specialised lab and longer turnaround.
